Whistling Woods School of Music celebrates 'CADENCE MUSIC FEST'
CADENCE signifies the natural flow of rhythm, music, and vocals in contributing to the expression of words.
So, Whistling Woods School of Music celebrates a 3-day music festival from 5th to 7th May as the CADENCE MUSIC FESTIVAL every year on campus for all music students, alumni, and music lovers. This year's celebration launches tomorrow with the MOHD. RAFI MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP to be awarded to a deserving music student on merit, presented on behalf of Whistling Woods International with Sonu Nigam, Shahid Rafi, and Chairman Subhash Ghai on Monday, 5th May at 4 PM sharp at the WWI campus.
Sonu Nigam launched the music of Amaira in Marathi today at Whistling Woods International on the eve of the Mohd. Rafi Music Scholarship announcement. The title song of Amaira was screened in the auditorium with the film's team: leading man Ajinkya Deo, co-producer Suresh Pai, singer Raj Shekhar, guest Shahid Mohd. Rafi, singer Madhura Padave, and moderated by me to celebrate the Cadence Music Festival 2025.
A MOHD. RAFI MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP was instituted by Subhash Ghai, Chairman of Whistling Woods International. The scholarship was presented by Minister of Culture, Shri Ashish Shelar to student B. Raghava Ramachandra of Whistling Woods School of Music in the presence of our star singer Sonu Nigam and Shahid Mohd. Rafi, son of the legendary Mohd. Rafi, on the first day of the Cadence Music Festival 2025, witnessed by thousands of music lovers and students attending the 3-day festival.
